Letter from the President Hello, Welcome to 2014! We have another year upon us and that gives us a chance to start anew and really move forward with our organizations. It’s time for us to turn over a new leaf and demonstrate the values that we, as Greeks, represent. The Vision for the Future 2014 will be a difficult year. As Greeks, we need to start making a marked effort to pro- mote ourselves in a positive way to the campus and local communities. Through improved philanthropic and service initiatives and improved marketing of those types of events, we can start to make a bigger change to the perception of the Greek Community, and combat many of the problems we faced this past year. We need to focus less on the types of events and behaviours that promote the negative stereotypes that plague our reputation. Let’s make 2014 the year that we realize, as a community, that our organizations can and should be more than just a party. That we can make a large impact on our the communi- ties that surround us by coming together and giving back through philanthropy and ser- vice. Letter from the President
Hello,
Welcome to 2014! We have another year upon us and that gives us a chance to start anew
and really move forward with our organizations. It’s time for us to turn over a new leaf
and demonstrate the values that we, as Greeks, represent.
The Vision for the Future
2014 will be a difficult year. As Greeks, we need to start making a marked effort to pro-
mote ourselves in a positive way to the campus and local communities. Through improved
philanthropic and service initiatives and improved marketing of those types of events, we
can start to make a bigger change to the perception of the Greek Community, and combat
many of the problems we faced this past year. We need to focus less on the types of
events and behaviours that promote the negative stereotypes that plague our reputation.
Let’s make 2014 the year that we realize, as a community, that our organizations can and
should be more than just a party. That we can make a large impact on our the communi-
ties that surround us by coming together and giving back through philanthropy and ser-
vice. Let’s make 2014 the year that people can say made the difference.
