Sacrament of Reconciliation at St Augustine Church Saturday: 4:00 –4:30 pm Wednesday; 3:30 pm before First Friday Sacrament of Baptism A Baptismal preparation class for parents is offered the fourth Tuesday during the months of January, March, May, July, September, and November. You must register no later than the Monday before class. The class is held in the Parish Center at 7:30 p.m. and attendance is required before a child can be baptized. Baptisms are celebrated every Saturday at the 5:00 pm Mass and every Sunday at 1:00 pm outside of Mass. Sacrament of Marriage Congratulations on your engagement! A premarital preparation program is required by the Archdiocese. It is important to contact the rectory office at least six months in advance of a wedding date. A tentative date can be set after the first appointment, but will become final only after marriage preparation is completed. Caring Ministry – (Pastoral Care of the Sick and Bereavement Ministry) A priest or another minister will be happy to bring Holy Communion to the ill or those confined to their homes. Holy Communion is brought on the First Friday of the month. Anointing of the Sick: Those weakened by age, afflicted by a serious illness or preparing for a serious operation should receive this sacrament. Call the cluster office for arrangements. A Bereavement Minister is assigned soon after a death to offer prayerful support and to provide an opportunity for those grieving, and to do so in a supportive atmosphere. Religious Education Kindergarten through 8 th Grade: September through May, times are arranged with the school. High School: Sunday mornings at the Parish Center. Special Education classes and tutoring are offered as needed. Adult programs are offered throughout the year. Anyone interested in becoming Catholic can enroll in the RCIA process. Eucharist Adoration – held every Monday at St. Augustine Church, opening begins at 9:00
am – closing at 9:00 pm. Schoenstatt will lead the rosary at 8:00 pm followed by benediction
concluding by 9:00 pm.
Angel Tree -The Mission Commission is organizing the Christmas Angel Program again this
year. If you know of anyone who could benefit from this program, please call the rectory at

Prayer and Spirituality with the Sisters of the Precious Blood - Monday of October you are
invited to pray at the Shrine of the Holy Relics at 4pm or 7pm, and explore “Traditional

Minster/New Bremen Right to Life Meeting - Tuesday, October 8th, 7:00 pm in Hoying
Building 4th and Main Street. New members are always welcome.

Feast of St. Gerard Majella Mass - Sunday, October 13th, at 12:00 pm at the Shrine of Our
Lady of Consolation, Carey, OH sponsored by The Franciscan Friars. St. Gerard Majella is
the patron saint of motherhood, this special Mass is for those who are expecting a child or
trying to conceive. All are invited to come and pray!

Fifth Grade Field Trip – Wednesday, October 9th. The fifth grade PRS classes are invited to
participate in a field trip to the Maria Stein Relic Chapel and Museum. Permission forms
were mailed out and need to be returned to the Parish Center. The church buses will pick the
participating students up from the Minster Middle School immediately after school and will
return the students to the Parish Center following the field trip. Parents are asked to pick
their children up from the Parish Center at 5:00 pm.
