Save Your Seat! Furnishings Campaign
You know we're still seeking funds to complete the renovation and expansion of the Demmer Library. Did you know furniture is part of that remaining cost?
We've received a generous donation to get us started on planning for new shelving, seating, and tables - some things we can use immediately and some things we're dreaming about. Can you help?
Thanks to the kick-off donation, we have purchased custom designed magazine racks through a partnership with the Three Lakes School FAB LAB.
A student developed a new design and was able to manufacture 12 racks at just over half the price of the commercially available products.
There are more than enough funds left to order a custom designed and built DVD display from a local business.
This will hold more DVDs, so we can increase our (undersized) movie collection in the same floor space.
After renovation and expansion, we will have room to add a second module to the unit.
**If you wish to make a donation to the furnishings campaign please write “furniture” in the memo of your check.
The 501c(3) Three Lakes Public Library Foundation is accepting donations including cash, appreciated stocks, bonds, mutual funds, and IRA distributions.
Pick up a brochure and donation card at the library, or use the form below. Please call Erica Brewster (715-546-3391) or Vicki Reuling (715-546-8032) for more information. Your contribution will help us open a new chapter for the Demmer Library! Thank you for your support!
