by changes to the oversight committees Additionally there is a myriad of new processes

The point that gets missed in this story is that both Vindman and Ciaramella had

direct knowledge of the WH meeting that the NSC called in January 2016

(Ciaramella was the WH host) where Ukrainian prosecutors were instructed to find

evidence of Russian ties to Trump or his campaign associates This was confirmed

by Andreii Teleschenko one of the Ukrainian prosecutors who refused to comply

with the request which he considered unethical

If the persons that initiated the whistle-blower complaint were aware of their

potential legal jeopardy that might be uncovered by an honest investigation of the

2016 corruption in the Ukraine and tried to block it using the statute to hide their

identity that would be clear obstruction of justice

I donrsquot see what these rule changes have to do with impeachment unless they were

terribly misguided which would not surprise me given the quality of the

proceedings conducted both in the House and in the Senate by the House

managers I believe POTUSrsquo lawyers have argued that general rules pertaining to

oversight donrsquot apply to impeachment proceedings Any future impeachment that

suffers from the same defects as this one is doomed to the same fate unless the
