STRENGTHENING OF BAWOD AS A WOMEN MICRO-ENTERPRISE GROUP
1. Facilitating access to funds: LGU assisted BAWOD in accessing funds for livelihood project such as cattle dispersal and homecare products
The assistance was meant for livelihood only. The LGU realized later the need to provide them the necessary entrepreneurial training to help them upscale their livelihood projects.

2. Organizing their activities. In an effort to extend more livelihood projects to women, LGU Balilihan organized the following:

Results of LGU support to Balilihanwomen under the GREAT Women Project
Such experience increased their capability to gain for themselves, leading to increase in family income. It also enhanced their interest to gain more for their family.
Increased confidence and encouragement to negotiate with the LGU for support of their respective line of business and/ or enterprise.
