Abstract: The current research aims at showing the effect of using Helda Taba
model on the acquisition of Islamic concepts by fifth primary class pupils and their selfishlessness behaviour. The researcher used the experimental design of two equivalent post - test groups. One is the experimental group and the other is the control. The sample consists of (67) pupils, (34) of them is the experimental group (division A ) and (33) made the control group (division B). The researcher made a (40) items test of Islamic concepts characterized by stability and validity. The second tool was the scale of selfishlessness behaviour made by the researcher consisted of (20) situations characterized also by stability and validity . After applying it on the sample of the research, data were statistically analyzed using T- test for two independent samples, Kai square, Koder
Richardson (20) formula , and the Alpha- Kronbach. The results showed statistically significant differences between both groups regarding post test in the acquisition of Islamic concepts and selfishlessness behaviour in favor of experimental group . Given these results, the researcher presented a number of recommendations and suggestions like adopting the Helda
Taba model when teaching fifth primary class pupils Islamic concepts and conducting a study to know the effect of Helda Taba model on enhancing deductive thinking.
