DDP and Open Access

Goal• to provide future data access to DDP group and

other interested researchers

Means• DANS – Data Archiving and Networked Services

(KNAW and NWO)• data storage and access for ‘alpha’ and ‘gamma’ sciences • self archiving (metadata and raw data files)

Implementation1) Other acces (data deposited under embargo for three years)2) Restricted access (steering group decides who gets access)3) Open access in future?

Status

• Checking manual vs metadata file

• Privacy sensitivity issues (eg video data)

• Ready in 2013?
