STEWARDSHIP THOUGHT
“For God did not give us a spirit of cowardice but rather of
power and love and self-control.” 2 Timothy 1:7
A good steward cannot be a coward. It takes strength, love and self-control to put God first in our lives. St. Paul assures us that we have been given the courage we need to do God’s work.
"Por qué Dios no nos ha dado espíritu de cobardía, sino de
poder, de amor y de dominio propio." 2 Timoteo 1:7
Un buen servidor no puede ser cobarde. Se necesita fuerza, amor y dominio propio para poner a Dios primero en nuestras vidas. Sn. Pablo nos asegura que se nos ha dado el valor que necesitamos para hacer el tra-bajo de Dios.

2013 Public Square Rosary Crusade Seven Dolors will sponsor a public recitation of the Holy
Rosary on October 12, 2013 at 12 noon in the lawn area north of the Luckey Jr. High building (Corner of Juliette & Houston).
Our goal is to counter the destructive secular agenda, ask-ing God to guide every aspect of our society. As human ef-forts have failed to solve America’s key problems, we ask His immediate help for our nation’s leadership. He will hear our prayers, especially if we pray the Rosary of His Blessed Mother. Without prayer, and specifically the Rosary, we will not find solutions to our nation’s many problems. Last year, the America Needs Fatima campaign organized over 9,077 Rosary Rallies. In 2013, we’re plan-ning 10,000 rallies for October 12-the Satur-day closest to the October 13th anniversary in 1917 when God worked the miracle of the sun at Fatima, Portugal. America needs a monumental miracle of conversion.

Opportunities for Adoration Do you know about our Adoration Chapel
at the Parish Center? It’s a wonderful place where, in the presence of the Blessed
Sacrament, we can grow closer to Jesus through prayer and meditation. Have
you ever considered a visit to the chapel, or pondered reserving an hour? Did you
know that you can be on the schedule with a prayer partner or as a family?
There are many ways we can make ado-ration a part of our lives! Won’t you con-sider stopping by to experience the gift of Perpetual Adoration? We have time slots
to fit many schedules. Please see the times below for specific information. Thank you for your prayers for the continued growth of our Chapel.
Jesus has made himself the Bread of Life to give us

I would like to acknowl-edge and extend my appreciation to the Co-Chairs of this year’s event – Jeremy & Jennifer Corn, as well as to all of the volunteers who worked so hard to make this event a success. The auction would not have been a success without all the generous bidders; and to all of the individuals and busi-nesses that donated items or sponsorships to the auction, we are so grateful for their generosity. “Thank You!” The date for next year’s event has
not been set, but please check the bulletin for up-dates on the 31st annual event. Please feel free to
