In this forum, Professor John Flood will

summarise a report analysing the

impact of the cab rank rule on the

market for legal services in the UK and

the response it has received from the

profession and the general public.

Justice Talks: The Hon Ronald Sackville Hear from former Federal Court of

Australia Judge, Justice Sackville, on

his ideas of justice as they have been

influenced by the various roles he has

held throughout his career - legal

academic, Royal Commissioner, law

reformer, practising barrister and

Judge in Australia and elsewhere.

He will consider the law as a force for

social justice, the notion of “access to

justice”, the constraints on Judges who

promise to do “justice according to law”

and Australian concepts of the rule of

law.

The 2013 Hong Kong Law Fair is a

BNP Paribas ACE Manager Business Game For the fifth year running, BNP Paribas

is inviting entries for the ACE Manager

online business game. Designed to en-

hance Group brand awareness in univer-

sities and colleges worldwide, the 2013

round of this international contest is

open to teams of students in higher

education—those studying for a Bache-

lor or Master’s degree—who are under

26 years of age.

During the game, teams will test their

ability to carry out various banking tasks

embedded in a number of case studies.

Their goal is to come up with the best
