The Big Fall Preview 2012 (Part One)
4. Snow white. “Winter white” is a slightly off white color that is appropriate for winter (vs. a true bright white) ...it’s also a hot trend this season along with creams and pastels.
Rock your winter white or cream like these ladies do...
HOW TO WEAR THIS TREND: You can wear winter white or cream from head to toe or add in warm-toned or stone colored accessories (like photos above).
You can also wear your favorite cream shade sweater with bright pants (Yes, we are mentioning a colored bottom...again!)
This style sweater jacket will “give” you curves! Just add a colored pant...
C Creek Crescent Sweater Jacket (misses, womens)5. Get Suited Up! It seems every fall there is a new take on wearing menswear inspired garb
and this season is no different. This year, it’s all about suiting pieces worn with button-down shirts and blouses. You might quickly think of the current Ellen DeGeneres or the classic Katherine Hepburn look!
HOW TO WEAR THIS TREND: Wear a classic, well fitting blazer and then add a pretty color underneath! Keep the look classic...
The Limited Peaked-Lapel 2-Button Blazer (sizes 0-16)
6. Add Pep into Your Step! Yes, adding a peplum-styled top or jacket might add some much needed “pep” and excitement into your new fall wardrobe!
Don’t discount this style without trying a couple peplum shirts or jackets on. This style can be quite flattering because it comes in at the waist line!
This style can hide an undefined waist and help create the look of curves...
HOW TO WEAR THIS TREND: Find a peplum top in one of your signature colors and wear it with every skirt and pant in your closet. This style of top might become one of your favorites this fall!
I have chosen one dozen fall fashion trends to share with you. These are the first six (6) top trends you can easily add into your existing wardrobe. Let me recap...
1. Color (everything goes this season)
2. Bottoms (all colors, textures, prints)
3. Red (find your favorite shade...lots of burgundy in the stores)
4. Winter white/cream
5. Suiting pieces
6. Peplums. A skirted style of top and jacket you will love!
Until next week and part two of the Big Fall Preview 2012! Leslie MSP
