Members gathered on March 19th, 2014 to
discuss and plan this years festival. Due to many
date conflicts we hope to plan future Lake Fest’s for the last Saturday
in July, starting in 2015. This year our festival will be July 19th.
In celebration of our Golden Anniversary the theme GOLD RUSH was
decided upon for the Boat Parade. The Car Show will be cancelled
this year due to conflicting dates with other shows. Members will be
able to check out new golf carts, as we have a rep attending our festi-
val this year. A DJ will be provided for early entertainment, and
Cleveland’s Breakfast Club will perform in the evening. If you would
like to participate in the planning process please bring your ideas to
our next meeting. We hope to see you April 24th at 6:30pm.

NO SOLICITING!
With warmer weather approaching, so will door-to
door salesmen. Our “No Soliciting” policy at Holi-
day Lakes cannot ensure that they will not make
their way to your front door. While most salesmen
are legitimate, we must all be aware of the few that
are not and follow precautions.
Please be wise. If you open your door to a solicitor, don’t let them
into your home. Burglars are known to pose as salesmen to “case”
a house they may be planning to burglarize.
Please do not give any money up front. A lot of times, the scam is
to get the money, then do little or no work, leave and never come
back.
Report any suspicious door-to-door solicitation to the Sheriff’s
Department immediately.
If you decide to make a purchase, ask for a dated cancellation form
and a dated receipt. The Federal Trade Commission Cooling-Off
rules give buyers a three business day period to cancel a purchase.
Saturday is considered a business day.
Remember, Holiday Lakes has a NO SOLICITING policy.
Please follow precautions.
