What is tailgating? It can best be described asstriking a delicate balance between the gamesand celebration. It provides an atmospherewhere f ans f eelf ree to paint their f aces, share ref reshmentsdrinks and beverages with f ans f rom theopposing team and anyone else. It is a t imewhere sports can beenjoyed, bef ore the commencement of thegame, at half t ime or af ter the games. It is aplace to have f un and connect with existingand potential clients.These parties are normally held in the parkinglots around vehicles with open tailgates,hence its name, tailgate party.

The Origin

How did this all begin? This American tradit iondates back to the Civil War around 1861,locals cheered the Union soldiers chanting

Although it cannot be compared to moderntailgating, it is a classic historical event ofspectators cheering an events.
