Process Analysis & Scope of Development

Scope of development:

Problem in filling section- Creation of void:The operation of the filling section is aimed at obtaining a predetermined weight of the filled plate after filling with the lead oxide mixture. The plates containing that weight pass through the quality assurance. In this view, the filling section is performing its operation quite soundly. But, the plates face problem at the process named “Sulphation”. Due to the presence of voids, the absence of active material there greatly affects the battery power and thereby the battery life. After sulphation, a lot of positive plates are being rejected due to inconsistency of active material which can’t be retained by further processing.
