[1] Aerokit Turbo1

The Aerokit Turbo adds sporty appeal

and a sporty driving feel. All components

have been tested and aerodynamically

optimised in the Porsche wind tunnel.

These include the distinctive front spoiler

with side fins, the sideskirts painted in the

exterior colour of your car, the distinctive

fixed rear spoiler with auto-deploying rear

wing, and the rear apron also with a paint

finish in the exterior colour. The

Aerokit Turbo reduces lift at the front and

rear axles, improves driving stability and

accentuates the powerful appearance of

your Porsche.

All features of Porsche Active

Aerodynamics (PAA) integrated as

standard are retained.

[2] Aerokit Cup1

This package comprises the SportDesign

package as well as a modified front

spoiler lip and a fixed-wing profile on the

rear spoiler. Tested and refined in the

Porsche wind tunnel, the components

increase downforce on both axles and

improve handling. They also emphasise

the sporting heritage of the 911 and your

affinity with motorsport.

Your 911 can receive this further

enhancement from the Aerokit Cup,

available from Porsche Tequipment,

even if your vehicle is already equipped

with the SportDesign front apron or

SportDesign package.

Note on the use of winter tyres. Summer tyres provide optimum

performance at ambient temperatures

above approximately +7 °C. Below this

point, the tyre compound begins to

harden and braking distances are

increased. We therefore recommend that

you fit winter tyres during the colder

months of the year so that you can drive

your 911 safe in the knowledge that it will

continue to meet our high standards for

driving safety even at low temperatures.

are identified by the ‘N’ designation

[1] PowerkitThe 911 was born out of passion for the

sports car. The source of this passion

can be traced back to the Porsche

Development Centre in Weissach. Here,

our designers and engineers give

their all to produce breakthrough after

breakthrough. The most recent

accomplishment is the new Carrera S

Powerkit – for the Targa 4S and the

911 Carrera S models (type 991).

In plain figures, we have managed to

increase power output from 294 kW

(400 hp) to 316 kW (430 hp) and improve

acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h by

0.1 seconds. The Targa 4S and the

911 Carrera S models with PDK 1 and

SPORT PLUS button complete the sprint

in an impressive 4.0 seconds. The fastest

variant in the range reaches a top speed

of 308 km/h.

To develop the Powerkit, a number of

sophisticated measures were needed.

The cylinder head intake ports have been

reworked and given a polished finish.

The stroke of the intake camshaft has

been increased and the electronic engine

management adapted accordingly.

The highlight of the Carrera S Powerkit is

the newly developed variable resonance

intake manifold with six plus one

switchable valves. This innovation enables

the system to switch between power- and

torque-optimised geometries and deliver a

boost in power output, particularly in the

upper speed range. The extra heat

generated by this power increase is

dissipated by an additional centre radiator.

Other components include the sports

exhaust system with two specially designed

twin dual-tube tailpipes and the titanium-

coloured engine cover featuring inlays in

carbon.

exhaust system, featuring a modified

silencer and specially designed twin

dual-tube tailpipes. By simply pressing the
