Styling Trends Women‘s wear.Simplicity features Elegance.

An extravagant mixture of sportive heritage pieces and very feminine dresses and tops. Understatement, elegance and luxury give this theme a relaxed and contemporary look. The idea is to play with codes based on classics and traditions, and put them into e�ect through quality and precision. Plain and luxurious aspects are mixed nonchalantly through noble fabrics, influenced by the fifties, sixties and seventies. Silhouettes are based on reduced styles, materials’ mix, beautiful finishing details and perfect styling. High-quality wool fabrics, double-face, chinés, soft reliefs and peeling e�ects are combined with silk, jersey, leather, checks and informal prints. The colour palette features camel, brown and flannel, mixed with gold, red and olive.

StylesPlain wrap-around coats, collarless shapes, blazer coats with cross seams, fabric blazers with leather details in a materials’ mix and fly fronts or hidden button facings, soft lumbers with knit facings, soft pleated slacks in fabric or leather, wrap-around and pleated skirts, simple wool dresses in materials’ mix and leather details.

YarnsLambswool and Shetland in mélange colours are complemented with alpaca mixtures. Luxurious cashmere and merino yarns, mixtures with cotton, silk, mélanges and tony moulinés, loose, voluminous boucles and mohair e�ects.

Women’s wearThe theme plays with codes based on sure values, elegance and relaxed luxury, and defined mainly by quality.

ShapesSingle-coloured knits for blazers, double-breasted vests, fine knits in single colours with stripes, checks or micro-designs, assorted knits with turtle-necks or V-necks as débardeurs, polos or twin-sets, graphic jacquards with V-necks, cardigans, turtle-necks, hunting- style knits with leather patches.

PatternsGlossy knits, ribbed patterns, reliefs, weaving and jacquard struc -tures. Knits with structure patterns and intarsia. Structures and designs appear in even the finest stitch gage, compact and soft Milano knits, structured facings, reduced hole patterns, refined, minimal 3-D reliefs or micro-jacquards. Coarse mesh knits feature rice-stitch structures with suede or smooth leather applications.

Men’s wearIn this theme, elegance, relaxed luxury and timelessness play an important role, defined mainly by materials and not so much by optics.

This look is based on added values, centred on our own needs. Closeness to nature, to our fellow human beings, to essentials in dealing with the environment and resources. Handicraft, authentic, true and simple looks are interpreted anew in individual and surprising ways. Round shapes, oversized pieces, as well as lightness and comfort shown in generous knit shapes and romantic outdoor models. Materials are natural and ultra soft. Noble wool qualities, blanket fabrics, walk fur, voluminous knits, down and eco-qualities. The colour theme shows subtle natural tones in warm nuances, complemented by a frosty, misty blue, moss green and mauve.

StylesThe look is based on a slim silhouette that acquires volume through modern-shaped tops with masculine over-sizing. Casual wear is reinterpreted in a modern way through patterned pieces with a feminine cut. Important pieces are wool coats with zipper and pocket details, decorative linings, fur coats and pelt jackets, capes, fur-lined parka-shapes, wrap-arounds, short down jackets and vests with zipper and seam details, soft stretch pants, loose-fit pants with knit waistbands, wide wool Bermudas, short wool skirts with separating seams, tunics and wrap-around tops, shirts in layerings.

Women’s wearThe fashion theme identifies itself with a plain lifestyle, based on simplicity, security and the feeling of being at the centre of things.

ShapesLuxurious hand-knit models, cable patterns in oversized capes, loose-fit turtle-neck sweaters, feather-light fur knits, tunics with fringes and fur or felt details. Round, oval shapes, oversized pieces, weightlessness and comfort are found in generous knit pieces. Casual ponchos with structure patterns or authentic cable knits.

PatternsCosy, warm and protective. Stitch gauge is coarse and seems hand-knit. Plush and fur optics, yarn mixtures in striped structures, creative cable patterns and left-left knits enliven the exaggerated volumes of knit wear. Cable structures in all sizes and combina -tions provide structure to knits. Coarse peasant patterns, traditio-nal sock patterns, patchwork ideas.

Men’s wearThe casual look which wrote success in the last seasons also carries on in Autumn/Winter 12/13. Not so tough as usual, the looks are more subtle and reduced but still rustic and winter-proof. Preferably clean lambskin jackets, as well as coats in cuddy fur looks combined with soft winter knit, represent the new pure casual factor.

ShapesNoble fine-knits in compact single colours, moulinés, sparkling optics, single structures. Heavy knits for high-quality tailoring. Tweed yarns in combination with sturdy and able structures are the basis for a pithy look, supported with discrete fur inserts on the collar. Double-breasted jackets and pullovers in fisherman style are an authentic variation to more clean knit creations.

Mysterious and dark. Eerily and uncannily beautiful. Night images and scenes inspire this theme. Ideas from the 1920’s and 30’s are renewed with a masculine tailoring. Important aspects are severity and purism, as well as a sensuous layering. The theme comes across as very feminine, with transparency e�ects and relaxed, loose wrap-around shapes that are combined with narrow, body-hugging basic silhouet -tes in a layering-look. The dark optics are based on a mixture of satins, masculine wool, heavy velvet and fur with metallic details, lace, leather e�ects and prints, reminiscent of tapes -tries or a starry sky.

StylesCoats in truly miscellaneous materials become very important. Coats in wrap-around and tuxedo shapes, coats with fur collars, masculine jackets and waistcoats, tuxedo variations with glossy e�ects or materials’ mix, tuxedo and drainpipe slacks, as well as narrow, draped skirts. Tunics, tops, wrap-arounds in layerings.

Colours Dark, nocturnal shades in blue, green, grey, wine-red, gold, cop-per, red, with crystal, light, glass and mirror reflections.
