Non-Infectious disease like diabetes, cancer and other lifestyle diseases are on a

growth curve

Healthcare access in India is not only expensive, its

inaccessible

> 1/3 of married Indian Women are Anaemic

In 2007, people continue to die for the same reasons

they did when India became independent in 1947: infectious diseases.

One in three women do not receive ante-natal checkup

50% of women do no seek medical treatment as hospital is

too far or expensive
