Teachervision is every educator’s dream tool. It offers thematic units, lesson plans, templates, and tips for successful parent-teacher conferences, counseling, and guidance through assisting children with special needs. There is a membership fee required, but worth every penny!

http://google.com Google is probably the most widely-used search engine

worldwide, and my personal favorite. In addition to producing a tremendous amount of search results, you can narrow entries to images, videos, maps, news, shopping, and gmail. What I love most is the personalization feature of “iGoogle” where I can view my email, weather in preferred places, new movie releases, clocks in different time zones, etc.

Mozilla Firefox is an easy to use web browser that seems to have taken over Internet Explorer in the last few years. It’s much faster and more user-friendly than over web browsers.

Wix offers the ability to build and create your own website. Users are also able to share their webpage via URL to other users. This has also become one of my new favorites to use for presentations and portfolio’s that I’d like to share with others.

Prezi is a refreshing change to the all-too-frequent Microsoft Power Point presentations. The graphics and movement throughout a presentation begs for more attention from your audience. Although it is fancier and much more appealing than Microsoft Power Point, it is not as user-friendly.

Picnik is most definitely one of my favorites go-to sites. This web site offers amateur and professional photographers alike the tools necessary to alter and enhance photographs. From quirky and unruly designs to teeth whitening. This site is sure to please the eye!
