Is it necessary to submit evidence of proficiency in German in order to apply for the Bachelor’s
program in Management & Technology?
To apply for the Bachelor in Management & Technology you can either submit evidence of proficiency in
German or English if you don’t have a German school leaving certificate.
What should I do if my university entrance qualification is from another country than Germany and
how can I be sure if it qualifies me to study in Germany?
In general international applicants have to apply via uni-assist (The application and document review via
uni-assist is available throughout the whole year!). More information here:
https://www.tum.de/en/studies/application-and-acceptance/bachelors-degree-programs/uni-assist/
What should I do if my degree certificate doesn’t qualify me to study in Germany?
If you determine that your degree certificate qualifies you to study at a university in your country but not in
Germany, you'll be required to complete an assessment test (Feststellungsprüfung). Bavarian universities
offer a Studienkolleg program, a two-semester preparatory studies course that will prepare you for the
assessment test (more information on the Studienkolleg). Once you've passed the assessment test, you are
free to apply at TU München.

the relevant application period.
Verification of your documents with uni-assist does not qualify as an application for TUM. You will need to
apply to TUM via TUMonline before the application deadline.
