Resume and CV, what is the difference*?!

A resume (résumé) is a brief summary of your skills, experience, and achievements over one or two pages that helps you stand out from the competition. You may customize your resume from one job application to another to fit the needs of the company. A CV** is a more detailed document with a clear chronological order reflecting the full record of your education and career history. *Generally in the United States, Canada, Australia, and Germany. ** Curriculum Vitae; a Latin word meaning the life history.
