Bio-note:

Kamal Chandra Barman is Assistant Professor of Political Science at M. U. C. Women’s College, under the University of Burdwan, West Bengal. He has done his schooling (MP) from Bhawer Thana High School and Higher Secondary from Mathabhanga (Boys) High School, Cooch Behar. He has completed his Graduation with Honours in Political Science from Mathabhana College, Cooch Behar and Post Graduation in Political Science under the University of North Bengal, Darjeeling. He was awarded Masters in Philosophy in 2007 also from the University of North

Bengal. Mr. Barman initially joined as Part-Time Lecturer at Vivekananda College, Jalpaiguri and Mathabhanga College, Cooch Behar. At Present he is serving as Assistant Professor of the Department of Political Science, M.U.C. Women’s College, Burdwan since April, 2010. He has also participated and presented papers in many State/national/international level seminars, workshop and conferences and published some articles in different journals. At present he is doing his PhD under the University of Burdwan and he is also associated with a variety of academic committees of this college. He was In-Charge of the Department of Political Science from 1st April, 2010 to 1st January, 2016 and at present he is the acting In-Charge of the Department of Mass Communication and Journalism, of M.
