Advertising IndustryAdvertising photography is taking photos of a particular product for a company to show off its benefits or just to make it look great to market the product.

Photography plays a big part in the advertising industry as a customer wouldn’t buy a customer without seeing how it looks.

Some products are even advertised by celebrity's in the pictures to help market them more as it opens up a wider market audience if the customer also likes the celebrity in the picture.

Fashion IndustryPhotography is used in the fashion industry much like it is used in advertising, to sell a product. There are lots of different types of fashion photographs depending on the item of clothing trying to be advertised. For example if you are selling Nike sports footwear you would photograph it in action, but if selling a dress you would photograph it being worn by a model .

Music IndustryPhotography is a big part of the modern day music industry, it helps drive sales aswell as works as advertisment. It is used in music magazines aswell as T-shirts and calanders.

Sports IndustryPhotography is used in the sports industry to showcase events, sell a product advertised in the image by the sponsored athlete or just to show the skill of the athlete in the image.

An example image to show an event is the picture of Usain Bolt just after breaking the world record 100m sprint record and also winning Gold at the Olympics. The image shows his iconic pose which was seen by billions of people as well as shows his sponsor Puma.

Photo journalismPhotojournalism is a form of journalism but instead of carrying round a pen and paper to document event they carry around photography equipment to document events.

Many famous evens since photography has been around have been documented by photojournalist allowing the public to see what is going on in places that we don’t have access to and had only had what the newspapers decided to print to tell us what was happening.
