TALMOS components
SharePoint
SharePoint, the web application platform developed
by Microsoft, is used as the TALMOS communication
platform. SharePoint is where users will log on to
access their documents and resources, Microsoft
Office tools, calendars and email. They can also
collaborate from here using wikis, blogs and forums.
Announcements and notices can be posted to keep
everyone well informed.
Integration of standalone education
systems and software
TALMOS can link third party education systems and
software into the integrated environment. This will
allow users to access existing resources from one
single point. Even your existing VLE can be integrated
within the single infrastructure.
TALMOS Management Information
System Integration Engine
This engine will integrate your organisation’s chosen
MIS into the single environment. Real-time data can
therefore be displayed conveniently from within the
SharePoint platform.
Enhanced functionality through
additional TALMOS modules
CORE ECS has created a suite of modules which can be
added to the integrated environment. These modules
will help schools, academies and colleges to streamline
routine activities and create a more efficient way of
