This is a Advanced: Level I course for senior level law enforcement professionals with at least three (3) years of military or police operational field experience. Non-Technical Review: Learning how to get inside your own head and sort things out, better understand the images that keep flashing; learn about mental skills you use daily and yet fail to recognize in your personal life and on the job; learn how to de-escalate yourself before going home or to the next call; balancing your professional life as a cop with your family-time, friend-time and time for your own health, sanity and well being - lets face it you chose a career that deals with some of the most vile crap humans can create... we have new observations for you; new skills and simply models to learn. Our critical decision making models are simple and easy to use on-demand and in-the-moment. Technical Review: The core knowledge, skills and abilities taught in this one-day certificate program improve on the participant’s ability to perform rational conflict resolution, creative problem solving and effective communication. This skills training supports the most recent education reform recommendations by the DOJ. A 70% completion on the written test and lab is required for a passing score and certification. 1. Emotional Intelligence – Introduction to
the science of training the brain featuring the US Department of Defense Brain Training Techniques “Big4” (Navy Seals).
