ABOUT THE E-CONFERENCE

Knowledge is power; the more we know about a certain issue, the less fearful we feel. However it is not always possible to be

sure that the knowledge we have access to and believe in, is the most reliable source of information. The COVID-19 pandemic

has taught us more lessons than one. Staying at home can be refreshing for some time but when it becomes a compulsion

many start feeling anxious about the future and panicky too. The pandemic has, almost overnight, forced us to adapt to a

whole new working environment. Both employees and employers are coming to terms with the fact that working remotely

may become the new norm. While most of us may have adjusted a corner of our houses to suit our work requirements, it is

pertinent to note that we are now more vulnerable than earlier, as we now connect our personal home networks to the global

network servers. Hence it is highly recommended that we are aware of the cyber threats and measures to protect ourselves

against them. The uncertainty surrounding COVID-19 is allowing cyber crimes to thrive, with crooks continuing to operate

from the safety of their own homes, while employees struggle with distractions and new technologies.

While we as professionals are trying to battle the techno side of the pandemic, there is also the larger human psychological

side that is creating an havoc in our lives. Work from home, children at home, stressed personal space are a few other things

that are making us more vulnerable.

This e-conference has brought in experts in technological and human psychology together to enable tackle these opportunities

and challenges.
