An experiment to show the transpiration of a leaf.
Method.
1) Collect a twig, from a tree, which has more than 2 leaves on it.
2) Collect a twig with no leaves on it
3) Collect a twig with only 1 leaf on it.
4) Place each twig into a test tube
5) Fill each test tube 2/3rds full
6) Cover the water with a layer of oil.
7) Measure the height of the water and oil. Write it down in the results table.
8) Place all 3 test tubes into a test tube holder.
9) Label each test tube with your groups name in permanent marker.
Write a hypothesis tin your book, to explain what you think will happen in this experiment.
