The remaining photos show the re-built mast and rigging. The basic work performed was: Replacing the standing rigging and attachment points Cleaning up and refurbishing the mast foot Cutting slots in the mast and running new internal halyards Replacing the wiring harness Adding a tri-color to the masthead Adding new spreader lights A summary of the electrical work performed: A riveted conduit was added to keep the wiring from slapping and chafing on the halyards All existing wires were replaced A new cable was run for the combo masthead light New wiring was run for the spreader lights Each conductor was labeled A new 32 conductor covered terminal from Blue Sea was mounted on the Head-Salon bulkhead immediately beside the lower mast conduit openings to receive the wiring. This will also allow the mast to be more easily pulled in the future.
