Syndication is the distribution of content in a number of other digital channels online simultaneously

RSS is a format that allows the syndication of lists of content with metadata (title, creation date, hyperlinks, description, etc.)

Two main types of aggregators:

Web aggregators: make RSS headlines available in a Web page. (e.g. iGoogle, Google reader, bloglines, etc.)

Offline aggregators: e-mail clients, dedicated software

Subscription to RSS feeds can be done in several ways:Some browser detects automatically the RSS feeds on a web page and shows this icon on the right hand corner of the address bar. Click on it to subscribe.

If you use a specific News Reader, copy the RSS feed address into your reader.

If you use a RSS Feed Aggregator, click on one of the available icons that identify your favorite RSS reader:
