Next steps (for me)✤ Promoting RSS Feeds

✤ Promoting articles in every possible way so that people can easily see all the stories this week and share

✤ Promoting each article and submission on social media

✤ As the website becomes more useful and relevant to people they’ll be more likely to submit photo/video content

✤ Accepting article, photo, and video submissions via the blog gives students an outlet to share their own content and promote the website further

What’s changing in the workflow

✤ For articles I’ll take the final edits of the stories from the Argosy server and upload them. Make sure to include your name, article title and byline/teaser with every article.

✤ The photo editors Lea and Rosanna will upload article photos on production night and upload albums for major events (TSN visit, commencement, etc...)

✤ This ensures photos are high resolution and easily shareable. Having those photos on Flickr is another avenue for people to visit the site. Every photo will link to the story to which it belongs.

✤ Having everything cross-linked increases SEO so that Argosy articles come up higher on search results.
