years, the Genesee Valley Chapter of the Adirondack Mountain Club
has been hosting an Outdoor Expo at Mendon Ponds Park. The Genesee
Valley Chapter has organized this for the purpose of promoting
outdoor recreation. The goal is to provide a single place where
folks interested in the outdoors can get infor-mation about whats
available locally, what organizations are available and what they
do, meet people with similar interests, attend over 70 workshops
aimed at these interests and have fun!Local outdoor clubs and
vendors are welcome to come set up a table, booth or tent or do a
demonstration. Anything they have to o er is pretty much fair game.
Past years have included such things as hang gliders, hot air
balloons and gliders. The Expo has grown each year, both in size
and attendance,
