Other Information Camp YEY is a week-long leadership camp offered to adolescents from Cumberland, Gloucester and Salem Counties. The camp experience is free and limited transportation is available. Camp YEY is held in Alloway, NJ, from 9 am until 3 pm, Monday through Friday. Trained counselors and staff will lead youth in activities such as kayaking, high ropes course, various life skills and field games, as well as teach lessons about communication, self-esteem, decision making, goal setting and alcohol, tobacco and other drugs.

Programs: Kids Music Round! – Tuesday, June 16, 10:30 am Children, infants through age six, are invited to a music party featuring singing, dancing and interactive instrument play. The program will be presented by Marcia Kratz, a licensed Kids Music Round instructor.
Preschool Story Time – Tuesdays, June 23, 30; July 14, 21, August 4, 10:30 a.m. Children ages 2-6 and a caregiver are invited for stories, songs, finger plays, crafts and a snack. Story time is free and does not require registration.
Story & Craft – Tuesdays, June 23, 30; July 14, 21; August 4, at 10:30 a.m. Kids ages 7 and up are invited to share stories, activities and crafts. This program will take place at the same time as our Preschool Story Time and is perfect for older siblings!
Rick Waterhouse presents…The Mistaken Heroes! – Thursday, June 25, 7 p.m. Using puppets, songs, and lots of audience participation, children’s entertainer Rick Waterhouse, will help us discover that reading is super! This free program is recommended for children ages 4-11, and their families. No registration required.
Sciencetellers presents…Super Heroes! – Thursday, July 9, 7 p.m. Throw on your lab coat and get ready to experience forces and reactions through several exciting, hands-on experiments. Sciencetellers will sweep us away to a place where super heroes really do exist! This program is suitable for ages 5-12. Registration is not required.
Every Hero Has a Story Magic Show! – Thursday, July 16, 7 p.m. Magician Mark Zacharia will use magic, music and storytelling to show kids that they can reach their dreams. Recommended for children of all ages! No registration required.
Bento Making Workshop – Tuesday, July 21, 6 p.m. Registration is required. Teens and adults will learn about the art of Japanese Bento and get to create their own. This class will be taught by Keiko Warner. Space is limited.
Sea Creatures with Amazing Features! – Thursday, July 23, 7 p.m. The Wetlands Institute is coming to the library and participants are invited to use their senses and imagination to discover the wet world of water animals! Following a fun and interactive explanation of the local sea animals, participants will get hands-on time with them. No registration necessary.
Sing-a-long with Grandfather Joe! – Tuesday, July 28, 10:30 a.m. Kids of all ages are invited to this delightful musical program! Grandfather Joe has been entertaining for over thirty-five years but will still need plenty of help from the audience! Funded by the Friends of the Library.

Other Information Students can be dropped off at 7:00 a.m., and picked up as late as 5:30 p.m. Students may enroll for the entire summer, for individual weeks, or for a specific number of days during the week.
Each week, students will go swimming at a lifeguarded pool, play sports games, have supervised computer time, and enjoy a visit from the ice cream truck! Activities also include Bible stories, music, arts and crafts, cooking, science, strategy games, and lots of summer fun!
Morning and afternoon snacks will be provided. Bring a favorite sandwich, and the rest of lunch will also be provided.

Other Information Students will participate in workshops in various areas of theatre including improv, staging, vocal performance, choreography, set design, and technical classes; and will rehearse for a full staged performance, including music and choreography.
Cost For the Camp Day, it is $150/week for all campers from 9-4, except Specialty Camp, which is $155/week. Extended Day is available from 7:30-5:30 for an additional $20 per week, and Early Bird Club is offered at 6:30 am for an additional $10 per week. The Counselor in Training Program is $500 for the summer.

Other Information Camp is open from 6:30 am – 5:30 pm. Ages 3-5 are in Camp Mini-Me at the YMCA. Mini-Me campers swim once a week and camp includes breakfast and lunch. Ages 6-8 are in Camp Hiawatha at the YMCA. Hiawatha campers swim every day and camp also includes breakfast and lunch. Ages 8-10 can go to Mini Merrywood in Pittsgrove. Campers are bused to and from the Y to our 80-acre campground that includes swimming and boating, as well as breakfast and lunch. Ages 11-15 can also go to Merrywood in Pittsgrove. Campers are bused to and from the Y to our 80-acre campground that includes swimming and boating, as well as breakfast and lunch. Ages 9-15 also have the option to go to Specialty Camps. Specialty Camps are held at the YMCA and activities range from Firefighter Camp to Art Camp 7 include breakfast and lunch. We will be providing a chance for older teenagers to participate in leadership development through our Counselors in Training program for ages 16 and 17 and includes breakfast and lunch.
