Summer Camp Catalog 2012

Preschool -

Entering 6th grade

1. Registration begins Monday, April 23rd. Registration must be

completed in person at the Children’s Ministry office (A202).

No drop off registrations accepted.

2. You may only register your children and one other family/friend.

Classes will be filled on a first-come, first-serve basis. Payment

required at time of registration.

3. All campers are to enter and exit through the doors by the church

offices off Canterbury Drive. Exception - camps held in Scouting Minis-

tries Building will report directly there (located in back parking lot).

4. Campers must be signed in and out daily by a designated parent or

guardian.

5. All preschoolers must be completely potty-trained. This does not

apply to toddlers registered in Gym Monkeys.

6. Refunds are available up to 14 days prior to the day of the camp by

email notification.

Art & Play Kids will have fun with crafts, songs and games all centered around a selection of fun books for pre-school children. They will be active & get messy, so comfortable, easy wash clothes are recommended. Preschool Camps 2 years - Entering Kindergarten

Bake and Play Have you ever wanted to play bakery? Come join us for a fun filled morning of story, craft and bake time. Each week will focus on a different theme! This will be a structured but very fun time for your kiddo! Kids will use colors, sizes & shapes to build simple machines & then find out how they work! The academy is focused on training students and giving them tools that they can use in any stage experience they encounter. Elementary Camps Lakeview (District Camp) Is your pre-teen ready for an AWESOME camp experience? LUMC’s kids spend the week in cabins at Lakeview’s camping facilities meeting new friends from other churches, playing games and growing closer to God with daily devotionals and worship. (Parent chaperones are needed as well!) Dates: Mon -Fri, July 9 -13 Ages: Entering 5th-6th grade (There are separate camps for elementary and senior high, but they are all at the same facility.) Lego Camp (Building Brains) Students will build simple machines with gears, pulleys, levers then motorize with LEGO & K’NEX educational kits. Classes build on each other. Students will challenge each other to create, build & test the best designs! A great week of Science & Math skills put to work! M.A.D. Camp Join us as we produce the fun and inspiring musical Fish Tales. Kids will participate in lively MUSIC, ART, and DRAMA activities.
