I like windows, and I photographed them

a lot this past year — mostly reflections.

Windows open a conversation between

the people inside and the people outside.

Reflection in a window puts both inside

world and outside world onto each other,

making a new augmented reality.

A May sunset at the Victoria harbour in Victoria, BC.

A blacksmith works in the hardware shop at Ukrainian village.

I spent a lot of time outside this

summer — not so much in the city, but

more or less in the middle of farmland

or bushes. Who knew I could take so

many pictures of the sky?

Shibani BalasubramanianI took this image of my family enjoying the

beautiful sun as it set over the hills on a windy

evening. It reminds me to take a break during

my stressful days and just relax while enjoying

the moment.
