Rise to the occasion.Develop and explore your leadership style. Work collaboratively within your diverse community of peers to influence life on campus and beyond.

“In high school, I wouldn’t have called myself a leader. When I got to Centenary, however, I was empowered by professors and staff who became mentors. Centenary has so many opportunities outside of the classroom to teach you how to be a great leader and citizen.”

Miles Robinson, 2014-2015 Student Government President

Letters that spell friendship.Forget what you’ve seen on TV. Centenary’s Greek life is a different story. Form tight bonds that extend far beyond social events. We’re talking about a second family.

“You’ll hear a lot about the ‘Centenary Family’ on campus. My sorority provides me with a sense of family and a home away from home. Greek life has truly shaped my experience at Centenary.”

Ammiee Brown, Shreveport, Louisiana

Under the direction of world-class mentors, you can immerse yourself in a vibrant artistic community both on and off campus.

Studio Art major Nolan Simmons has thrived under the guidance of Professor Bruce Allen. The pair have spent two summers in Wyoming together, working the annual Cheyenne Frontier Days Western Art Show. While not in the Wild West, Simmons has had the opportunity to showcase his artwork in an exhibit at a local gallery.

“I am a music major at Centenary, but for me music is a way of life, not just what I study. I am proud to be a part of the Centenary College Choir and the choral ensemble, Camerata. I have found my community as a member of these groups, and am grateful that Centenary allows me to live this awesome experience.”
