What is Stress?

There is no universally agreed definition in existence.

“Stress is your body's way of responding to any kind of demand.” West Virginia Centers for Independent Living

Stress is “the reaction people may have when presented with demands and pressures that are not matched to their knowledge and abilities and which challenge their ability to cope”. (World health organization)

• This is positive stress.
