WHAT IS A STIMULUS ?

• STIMULUS: any action that makes and organism to react. That is cause

• Stimulus : singular• Stimuli: plural• Example: Give us an example!!!

WHAT IS A RESPONSE?

• RESPONSE: how the organism reacts to an stimulus and changes in behaviour. That is an effect

• Ex: • Give us an example!!!

Examples of stimuli and their responses:

There are two types of stimuli:

EXTERNAL STIMULI

AND

INTERNAL STIMULI

External Stimulus:

• External Stimulus: a stimulus that comes from the outside an organism

• Examples:

Internal Stimulus:

• Internal Stimulus: a stimulus that comes from inside an organism

• Examples:

Decide whether these stimuli are internal or external

The external receptors are in the sense organs

There are two types of responses

MUSCULAR RESPONSE AND GLANDULAR RESPONSE

Muscular response

• Muscular response: a response made by the muscles
