Catholic Charities is conducting a Day of Reflection at St. William on Wednesday, October 24, 2018 with moderator Fr. Brian Cook, Pastor of St. Leo the Great Church in Winston-Salem, NC. The topic is “Mercy, Mercy, Me?” There is no charge for this event which begins at 10AM and concludes with Mass at 2:20PM. Morning refreshments and lunch will be provided. These programs have always been a huge success in the past so please be sure to include this event as part of your preparation for advent and the birth of our Savior. She is turning 3 years old October 9th, and it is the Mexican custom to bless their child at the age of 3. Just as Mary was presented in the temple at the age of three, so our Mexican community presents their child in our temple for a special blessing on their third birthday. Please pray for Dana and her parents and her new baby brother, Camden Randy. ………………………………………………………………….. WE WOULD LIKE TO THANK all of those that participated in set up, preparation of food, serving and cleanup for the Desmond funeral luncheon.
