Hello, dear family, Thank you for your prayers for the mission in California. We had a wonderful attend-ance and many good confessions. Southern California is very beautiful, but it was so good to get back to New Mexico and my beloved St. Thomas. I miss you all when I am
gone! ---------------
We continue our Lenten Bible Study - The Seven Greatest Words of Love. This week we do the WORD OF SUBSTITUTION - I will be giving a message on Matthew 27:45-46, teaching what hap-pened on the Cross, what it means to us, and what our response should be. Monday, 6:30 pm Soup Supper, 7 pm an hour-long teaching, in Fr. D'Arco Parish Hall.
--------------- REMEMBER THE FRIDAYS OF LENT.... are days of abstaining from eating meat, are when we have the Stations of the Cross at 3 pm and 7 pm, are when we have extra Lenten Confessions, with multiple priests present, at 7 pm, are when the Knights of Columbus have their wonderful Fish Fry dinner in the parish hall from 3 to 7 pm.
---------------- Some more words of wit from the great American humorist, Will Rodgers:
• Good judgement comes from experience, and a lot of that comes from bad judgement.
• The short memories of American voters is what keeps our politicians in office.
• Never miss a good chance to shut up.
• If you find yourself in a hole, the first thing is to stop digging! Be thankful we're not getting all the government we're paying for. A blessed Lenten week! Msgr. Doug Raun
Msgr. Raun teaches a compelling message on the word of substitu-tion from Matthew 27:45-46, teaching what happened on the cross , what it means to us, and what our response should be. He gives a clear and powerful call to accept the atoning gift of Jesus’ life given on the cross to forgive our sins and allow us to live eternally with him.
Breakfast Join us NEXT Sunday, March 11th, for our Pancake & Posole Breakfast after the 7:00 a.m, 9:00 a.m., and 11 a.m. masses in the Fr. D’Arco Hall. We will have a pancake meal that consists of pancakes, eggs, and bacon for $6. Posole will be served for $5. Then stop by our bake sale and buy some of our delicious bake sale goodies. Our beautiful rosaries and religious articles make wonder-ful gifts for all occasions. We need your financial help to buy rosary sup-plies and postage to send rosaries to missions throughout the world. Please support our ministry by coming to our breakfast, enjoying the deli-
cious food, taking home some of our delicious bake sale goodies, and purchas-ing beautiful religious arti-cles so that we can contin-ue to make and mail rosar-ies to missions around the globe. Thank-you!

Three special miraculous conceptions are rec-orded in Scripture: Book of Judges 13:2-7, 24-25;
Gospel of Luke 1:5-25; Luke 1:26-38. Three An-
gels who stand before the Lord, each present a
message to these women. Please read them in
their entirety. What an acceptance of the Holy
Spirit! This is highlighted in the prayer of St. John
Paul II: “Look down, O Mother [Virgin Mary], upon
the vast number of babies not allowed to be
bornCGrant that all who believe in your Son
[Jesus Christ] may proclaim the Gospel of Life
with honesty and love to the people of our time.”
Make this your prayer during Lent. Submitted by
Charles Griego (Knights of Columbus)
ST. Vincent de Paul
In today's Gospel Jesus is asked "What sign can you show us?" Everyday we can see signs of how God has visited using the blessings of our lives. Let us be a sign of God's love by being a blessing to others. Is there a family you know who needs assis-tance? Please call the Society of St. Vincent de Paul so that together we can be a sign of God's love to the suffering and poor.

This peaceful prayer vigil will be held from Feb 14 until March 25 at two locations in Albuquerque: Planned Parenthood’s abortion mill at 701 San Mateo Blvd NE, between Lomas and Central (parking is available along Marquette on the west side of San Mateo), and at the late term abortion mill, Southwest Women’s Options, at 522 Lomas Blvd (between I-25 and Edith on the South side of Lomas).
Join the sidewalk counselors as a prayer partner and help save lives. The counselors are at Planned Parenthood on Tuesday and Friday from 8-11 AM and at the late term abortion mill on Wednesday and Thursday from 7-11 AM.
