THE BIG PICTURE
The Blues’ post All-Star schedule features 30 dates which is tied for the second fewest League-wide (CHI is fewest at 29). Tonight is the Blues’ third
game in the last five days and the first of four remaining home dates on the slate. Overall, the Blues have six games remaining on the schedule,
including three against current playoff teams. A victory tonight would give the franchise its 8th 100-point regular season and their third in succession –
which would be a franchise first. Since Ken Hitchcock took the reins on Nov. 8, 2011, the Blues have posted the best cumulative regular season record
in the NHL (220-101-36, .667).
FOUR IN-A-ROW
The Blues have won a franchise record four consecutive games via shutout, becoming the 9th different team to post four straight clean sheets in NHL
history (done 11 times overall). The Blues last conceded a goal at 19:42 of the third period on Mar. 16 in Edmonton (empty net) and since, they’ve gone
240:17 consecutive minutes without a blemish - also a club record. The last time an opponent beat a Blues netminder was at the 18:09 mark of the
second period in Edmonton. Individual shutout streaks include Jake Allen’s at 81:51 and Brian Elliott’s at 180:00.
HOME COOKIN’
The Blues have won three straight at home, one-shy of a season high. During their streak, St. Louis has outscored the opposition 12-4 overall, including
a +6 differential at even strength. The power play, though 0 for its last six attempts, has been the second best in the NHL since the All-Star break,
scoring 18 times on 72 opportunities (25%). What’s more, the defense has been stout. The Blues have allowed two or fewer goals eight times over their
last nine home games, translating to a 6-2-1 record. In fact, Brian Elliott (6 games) and Jake Allen (4 games) have combined for a .938 home save
percentage during the aforementioned stretch – the second best home mark in the League since Feb. 6 (1. ANA, .955)
ELLIOTT NAMED 2ND STAR OF THE WEEK
Brian Elliott logged two of his three consecutive shutouts last week, earning him the NHL’s Second Star. He was activated from IR on Mar. 19 and has
responded with a franchise-record-tying three straight clean sheets, including 71 consecutive saves. Elliott, the franchise’s all-time leader in shutouts
with 25, missed 10 games after suffering a lower-body injury on Feb. 22 vs. San Jose. Prior to his injury, he had started a career-high 18 consecutive
games, posting a 12-3-2 record with a 1.91 GAA and a .939 SV% (1 SO) in that stretch. With the addition of his three starts since returning, Elliott has
gone 15-3-2 with a 1.63 GAA, a .946 SV% and all four of his season shutouts over his last 21 starts. Elliott is riding a career-high six-game road win
streak (1.33 GAA, .951 SV%, 3 SO) while he’s gone 7-2-1 with a 1.98 GAA and a .938 SV% over his last 11 home starts.

FABBRI CLUTCH
Robby Fabbri currently sits with 37 points (18g, 19a), the 16th-most by a rookie in club history. What’s more, he’s shown a flair for the dramatic. Of his
18 total goals, eight have come in the 3rd period (4th amongst rookies), nine have been tie breakers (4th amongst rookies) and six have come in the
final five minutes of a period or OT (t-3rd amongst rookies). Fabbri ranks 2nd on the team lead with 19 points in 24 games since the All-Star break,
while the Blues are 14-2-2 when Fabbri scores this season and 24-5-3 when he grabs a point.
THE SCHWARTZ EFFECT
Jaden Schwartz returned from a 49-game absence on Feb. 12 in Florida and has gone on to post 17 pts (7g, 10) in 20 starts since. Since the beginning
of 2014-15, Schwartz has missed 56 regular season games. During his absence, the Blues have posted a 26-20-10 record, a 2.30 goals per game
average and a -9 goal differential. Compare that with his presence, when the team has logged a 70-26-6 mark, a 3.03 goals per game average and a
robust +70 goal differential.
PARAYKO AMONG TOP ROOKIES
Colton Parayko tallied his 8th goal of the season on Mar. 26 in Washington, becoming the fourth different Blues rookie blueliner to reach that plateau
(Brian Benning, Bob Hess, Dennis Wideman). Parayko has 31 points for the season, the 4th-most by a rookie defenseman in Blues history (Brian
Benning, Bob Hess, Erik Johnson). In addition, his +27 rating is currently the best rating ever from a Blues rookie defenseman and the 4th-best mark by
any rookie d-man since the 2004-05 lockout. Parayko has also managed one of the most honest rookie campaigns by a Blues rookie defenseman. In
club history, 19 different rookie blueliners dressed in at least 50 games during their freshman campaign, only Christian Backman (18 PIM, 03-04’) has
served fewer penalty minutes than Colton Parayko (22 PIM).
