The Samiti considered the proposals of the following Colleges/Institutes for finalization of fee structure for the students who joined the course started during Academic Year 2013-14. After deliberations, The Samiti decides to approve the final fee structure of the following Colleges/Institutes for the students who joined the course started during Academic Year 2013-14, subject to final approval/affiliation/permissions from respective Authorities. Figures are arrived at after considering the calculations drawn in the worksheet - calculation sheets of the respective colleges/institutes prepared by a Chartered Accountant. The students admitted in Academic Year 2013-14 and there after continuing their studies will pay an enhanced fee of 5% each successive year as per the norms for 2013-14 till completion of the course. For example if the fee approved is Rs. 1,00,000/- then znd year, 3rd year and 4th year's student of the Health Science Colleges will be Rs. 1,05,000/-. (Assuming course is of 4 years). Heard the Institute. The Institljte has given the Notice to the students/parents as per our resolution. But none is present on behalf of the studentslparents.

The fee approved for MD course is Rs. 5,75,000/- and for MBBS course Rs. 6,30,000/- . I t is challenged. But after hearing it is stated that they do not want to press for PID course. They press only for MBBS course. The Institute has originally demanded the fee of Rs. 7,00,000/- it is contended that divisor factor is not taken into consideration correctly. We pointed out that in fact there was mistake on their part in mentioning 500 instead of 450. I t is prayed that some increase may be granted considering this aspect. The Institute has now given letter dated 3/1/2014 stating that the fee may be approved at Rs. 6,70,000/- for MBBS course. I t is reasonable. We approve the same. Office to declare it.

Heard the Institute. It is prayed that they may be allowed to withdraw the revision. Allowed to

withdraw.

Item No. 4(3k RANM0329- G.S. Nursins School, Sakoli, Bhandara.

Heard the Institute. The Institute has given the Notice to the studentslparents as per our resolution. But none is present on behalf of the studentslparents.

The fee approved for the course started during 2012-13 was Rs. 55,000/-. The fee approved for 2013-14 is Rs. 60,000/-. It is challenged mainly on the ground that there is error in making the calculation of expenditure. There seems to be some substance in it. Though the Institute has originally demand fee of Rs. 1,03,936/-. Now they have given the letter dated 3/1/2014 stating that it may be approved at Rs. 65,000/-. I t is quite reasonable. We approve the same. Office to declare it.

Item No. 5(a): To consider and decide on the letter dated 19/11/2013 received from Sant Gaianan Maharai School of Nursinq in respect of consideration of fee a ~ ~ r o v a l of RGNM Course. {Ref. Asenda Item No. 3(a) meetins dated 17/09/2013).

Considered the letter dated 19/11/2013 of the Institute. We correct the error made in the declaratio~i of fee. To be declared for both RAIVIY/RGNM. Office to correct it.

Item No. 5(b): To consider and decide on the letter dated 22/11/2013 received from Seva Nursins School askinq for separate consideration of fee a ~ ~ r o v a l of RGNM Course as the ~ r o ~ o s a l was submitted for i.e RANM & RGNM

Considered the letter dated 22/11/2013 of the Institute. . We correct the error made in the declaration of fee. To be declared for both RAI\IM/RGNM. Qfice to correct it.

Considered the letter dated 9/12/2013 of the Institute . It is to be noted that we have accepted the proposals where there was no permission received by the Institute from Maharashtra Nursing Council and Indian Nursing Council, subject to submitting those permission. Whenever permissions were received and submitted to this ofice, the fee was declared.

But in this case the Institute has not at all submitted the proposal. I t is now pointed out that the perrr~ission of the Maharashtra IVursing Council dated 30/9/2013 was received hv them on 4/10/?013, Further there was error in sendinq the permission nf Indian Nursing Council. It was sent on the old address. Therefore it was received on 25/10/2013 through post at the corrected address. It is stated that therefore there was delay in submitting the proposal. I t is prayed that this may be accepted. Ofice to accept the proposal subject to receiving penalty of Rs. 30,000/- which was charged in all other cases where there was delay beyond August and upto September 2013.

Item No. 5(d): To consider and decide on the letter dated 13/12/2013 received from Mr. Sahoo in respect of com~liance of decision taken in the meetins dated 8/11/2013 [Ref. Aqenda Item No. 5(ii) in the meetinq dated 8/11/2013).

Considered the letter dated 13/12/2013 of Mr. Sahoo along with the affidavit filed by him. Office to send the same to the Institute and call for the explanation within a period of 4 week.

Item No. 6(a) : To consider and decide on the letter dated 26/11/2013 received from Saraswati Dhanwantari Dental Colleqe & Hos~ital Post Graduate & Research Institute askina permission to charqe fees from the repeater students of UG & PG course.

Item No. 6(c): To consider and decide on the letter dated 11/12/2013 received from the Director of Medical Education Research, Mumbai in resDect of fixation of fees for repeater students of Dadasaheb Surupsinqh Navik Avunred Uniwersitv , Dhule.

Considered the letter dated 26/11/2013 of the Institute and also of the Medical Education Research, lvlumbai dated 11/12/2013. Both these letters are in respect of the fees to be charged by the colleges for repeater students. I n this respect we may point out that decision was already taken in the meeting of the Samiti dated 8/11/2013 Item No. (6a) It is as under -

"Considered the IeMer dated 10/20/2023 received from Dadasaheb Surupsing Na/'k Ayurvedc Mahavidyalaya, Dhufe. It is in resped of fee to be c~'011eded from repeater students. The College can collect the fee from such students pro-rata of the failed subjeds (for example if the fee is RsS 2,00,000/- and there are five subjeds, if a student fails in &wo subjeds and is required to appear again for those two subjec3-5 then college can chame 8s. 40,000/-) for which they are required to appeared again. irhe fee is for the course and /it case students is not able to complete the course within stipulated time, then College/Institute can charge the fee Mich is declared for the next coursen Fbr example the B.A.M.S course is 4 25 years/ if the fee declard for Academic Year 2011-32 is Rs. 3/00,000/- then it will continue for 4 95 years. 63uf thereaeer it will apply the fee which is declared for the course started /it Academic Year 2025-26= The norm pmvides as under :-

This would apply squarely here and also in all other similar cases.

Item No. 6Cbl: To consider and decide on the letter dated 4/12/2013 received from Maharashtra Universitv Of Health Sciences, Nashik in respect of representationcum complaints from some students of Dadasaheb

Nasaon, Dhule demandina exhobitant colleqe fees & other fees.

Considered the letter dated 4/12/2013 of the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, IAashik. It requires to be noted that the Samiti only approves the fees. If specific complaint is made of charging more than the approved fee, then the Samiti seek explanation from the Institute. I f it is found that the complained is correct than if Samiti asks the college to refund and/or can also recommend the Pravesh Niyantran Samiti to stop the admissions for the next year of the college. I n such cases the studentslparents can approach the appropriate authority of the State Government for redressel of their grievance or even for punishment. It is not for the Samiti to oversee other aspects. Office to Communicate.

I tem No. 7:

Amdemic Year 2013-64.

There is already resolution passed on 10/1/2013 on this subject. It will apply

even in this case with only one change i.e. adhoc fee declared for 2013-14 will apply.

I tem No. 8: Discuss and decide about a ~s l icv 1 formula for

constraints.

The Office has pointed out the difficulties in storing the papers regarding proposals. There is no space to store them for a long time. Therefore the proposals to be retained in the office for a period of 1 year after the fee is declared by the Samiti on the website. I n short they are to be classified in B-papers. But incase if any case is pending before the Samiti or the Court, then i t can only be destroyed after corr~pletion of the proceedings and I. year thereafter.
