SOLAR PANEL ENERGY

There are sixteen solar panels situated on the south

facing pitch of the house roof. These are owned

outright by the vendors and attract no energy bill

surcharges. We are informed that the majority of

the property's electrical energy and domestic hot

water needs have been met from the solar panels

since their installation. Surpluses of solar energy

produced during the day are fed back to the grid

and the refunds generated result in drastically

reduced bills. An unvented hot water cylinder

stores water heated by solar power under pressure

which retains a high temperature and can be used

throughout the day and night (as an alternative or

addition to water heated instantly by the gas

combination boiler). The bath has a second

separate tap for solar hot water and the kitchen

sink can be supplied by switching a below counter

diversion valve. Prospective purchasers should

satisfy themselves of the fuel efficiencies provided

by the solar panel system.
