God’s Love and Power Overtaking Latin America

The people were as dry wood and the fire was easy to revive.

At the end of March and the first part of April, Latin Impact hosted 14 students from Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry for a two country missions outreach.  The first four days were in Bogota, Colombia where our team ministered in five different churches and conducted a three day healing conference.

Our team spent 2 days in a Cuban coastal village ministering in open air meetings in the evening and conducting leader's training during the days.

Our team never missed an opportunity to express the love and power of God.  The image below is of a famous Santeria witch. The powers of darkness are no match for the Holy Spirit as our group lovingly spoke encouraging words of God's love to her. She actually allowed our team to pray for her.  She finished by saying that we brought a lot of powerful positive spiritual energy upon her.

This is a family who's little boy was born with partial paralysis in his legs requiring him to use these braces.  After receiving prayer, the braces were removed and he walked on

his own for the first time.  You can see a short video of him walking at the following link:   http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x8FxKmpiAzM

Osmani Sosa and one of his leaders, Ariel received new baseball equipment and was instantly healed of long term knee problems. He was a nationally ranked catcher for many years, causing him severe knee pain. After receiving his healing, he led an outreach, winning over 100 people to Christ a few days later.

Several people give their hearts to Jesus, including one young man who had been an outspoken homosexual who would yell obscenities at the church every time he passed by.

We held open air night services in the town of Bejucal, Cuba, original town of the famous actor, Andy Garcia.  God opened blind eyes, deaf ears, and healed all manners of illnesses and pains.

In June, Russell returned to the Peruvian Jungle with a 10 person ministry team. They served in 4 different villages working with children and in church services. During the trip they checked on the progress of our cacao and coffee farm. Their adventures included hiking 2 miles in ankle deep mud.  A new high school building was inaugurated which Latin Impact helped build this year as well as a new church floor.  Our team helped facilitate a wedding for a couple in the mother church and Russell conducted his first wedding in Spanish.

Teaching truths about identity through arts and crafts!

Great breakthrough and open doors are evident everywhere our team traveled. Formerly resistant villages have begun to welcome us with open arms. Dozens gave their lives to Jesus in the services, hotels, and airplanes? As Jesus’ love flowed, people received improved sight, hearing, and complete relief of all pain in their bodies as He touched them! In most services, everyone who received prayers was healed!

New areas are opening up in the jungle to begin planting new churches and to visit churches that have never received a foreign missionary.  Over the next few years, we will be investing our efforts to help the local leaders advance the Kingdom throughout this region!  " " " " " " " " " Thanks for helping make that possible.

These village leaders have

completely opened up to the Gospel

and friendship through the High

School building project!

LIM funded the reconstruction of this school for a village that has never had a high school.

What a privilege to minister alongside

our daughter, Katie Stevens, in Peru!
