Technology Support Marketing Support Savings and Financial Literacy
Livelihood and Mentorship Support
Job Skills Support Training and Logistics Support
Support content development for the Mann Deshi Radio Station Entrepreneurship and Financial Literacy trainings. Help make this program as accessible as possible by improving our ability to broadcast to 100,000+ people across Maharashtra. Support the continued use of the Mann Deshi Toll Free Hotline and the use of SMS text messages to send updates and reminders to program beneficiaries. Help Mann Deshi expand and improve its technological usage with this program.
Allow this program to reach as many girls as possible by supporting a widespread marketing campaign that uses field visits to communities, pamphlets at markets, going door-to-door, radio broadcasting, newspaper, and advertising through banners. This comprehensive advertising campaign will allow our program to effectively target the beneficiaries who would benefit most.
Promote basic financial literacy and savings in a community historically ostracised from financial services. Support women in their journeys to becoming small business owners by providing them the tools they need to thrive in their professional careers. Provide these young women with a place to save their money by supporting the use of a savings box scheme that allows girls to safely and securely save their money for the future.
Support the physical and mental wellbeing of the girls in these marginalised communities by supporting training programs that focus on women’s health and hygiene and legal/ social rights. These trainings will directly impact the livelihood and wellbeing of the beneficiaries on a daily basis. Support their business pursuits by promoting a mentorship program with successful Mann Deshi entrepreneurs who will guide them through their professional careers.
Promote the employment and empowerment of young women and girls by providing them with the technical skills trainings that they need to get a job and support their families. These trainings, taught by Mann Deshi staff, will serve as a crucial stepping stone to helping women get jobs and promoting a culture of female empowerment and financial independence throughout the community.
Make this program possible by aiding Mann Deshi with training and logistics support. This includes the salary costs for our hardworking trainers as well as administrative and logistics planning that goes into implementing a program of this caliber. Support for training and logistics is essential to the implementation and success of this program and is not possible without the support of generous donors.
