bull 1978Datorsquo Bala is born in Pahang

Since his early childhood days Datorsquo Bala has a keen entrepreneurship spirit and has always find ways to make a few extra bucks to help out with his family

bull 1998Right after school Datorsquo Bala started as a street sales person selling odd products on the street and by knocking on doors in Kuala Lumpur Through hard work and determination he progressed swiftly over the years

bull 2009Through his extensive connections in the business world he went into Cigarette manufacturing venture with partners in the Philippines under the name SP Eastern Tobacco Co Ltd

At its heydays SP Eastern Tobacco Co Ltd supplied tobaccos and cigarettes to worldwide

bull 2011Datorsquo Bala expanded his cigarette manufacturing to Indonesia under the name Gudang Baru producing clove cigarette tow and filters for local as well as export market

Gudang Baru with its HQ in Kuala Lumpur and offices in Singapore and Dubai has distributorship all over worldwide

bull 2018As the manufacturing business flourish Datorsquo Bala decided to venture into Logistic by acquiring Orientage Sdn Bhd which provides haulage forwarding shipping warehousing services with HQ in Malaysia for many international brands

bull 2019Moving forward Datorsquo Bala established SP Duty Free with 2 duty free retail outlets in Vietnam Thailand and a distribution company at Cambodia in the pipeline

bull 2020Dato Bala expands his duty free business with 5 duty free retails outlets at Vietnam in year 2020 Furthermore another duty free retail outlet is expected to be operational in the near coming future at Pangkor Malaysia
