ELEMENTARY PRINCIIPALS SCHEDULE MEET It was good to see so many of our regulars out for coffee and donuts last Thursday morning . . . .sixty-five to be exact. And that was in spite of the slippery streets. We had a good report from most of our sick friends and we were very happy to learn that Pearl Wood is much better than he was a few days ago. We missed Harold Hoag for a few weeks and we thought he might be sick but we learned that he has been visiting some old friends in Texas but he is back home now. Our good friend, Her- man Johnson, Is still in the Mem- orial Hospital in Greenville. We read a nice letter from him last week. Although nothing has been said about it, we wonder If we will have another joint Easter din- ner this year. Of course, the Ground Hog managed to see his shadow last Sunday, so we will have to keep on our red flannels for six weeks more. Kent County Elementary Prin- cipals Association will meet at 1:30 on Wednesday afternoon, February 12, at Valleywood Mid- dle School, located at 1110 50th Street, S.E., Kentwood. Reverend Ray Kretzschmer of the Grand Rapids night minis- try will speak on "Social Sick- ness in Racism Affect All People - Black or White," Interested cirriculum direc- tors, middle school and junior high principals are also invited to the meeting.
