International Student AssociationFor us is an honor and a pleasure to be able to give you a warm WELCOME and wish you

the best luck during these two years here in Taiwan and we are more than sure that it will become like your second home.

Taiwan, STUT and ISA wish you all the best and the successes in this new stage of your lives that will start today. Living this new experience like a part of the STUT Family is an unforgettable experience that will help you to grow as mature people and better human beings.

About ISA (International Student Association) just let me tell you that is a new group of young students that are part of the IMBA Program here in STUT. Since last semester we decided to create this group or association just in order to help all of the international students with any kind of problems or doubts about our Programs or just about our daily lives.

The main purpose of this group of students is just to have like a representation among the staff in STUT. We expect to be the channel between the students and our professors and administrative staff. We already have a sponsor professor, who is glad to help us and support us with all our activities as a ISA.

Now we will just like to ask you for your support and a little bit of your time to share with us all your ideas and suggestions. Also we are open to all of those students that will like to be a part of our association. Since all of the members now are senior.....in a few months we are going to leave STUT but we would like this association to keep going ahead every year since we consider this as a very helpful group of people.

So all of you guys are more than welcome to join the ISA and we would love to get all your support. Anything that you need just feel free to contact any of us.... In a few days we are going to plan a meeting just to talk about our plans for this first semester and he expects to see all of you guys there.

Now once more....WELCOME TO TAIWNA AND TO STUT We hope you like it and we are looking forward to have a good time with all of you.

Introduction

The basic idea of this project came from the e-learning class in terms of knowledge management, sharing community and perspectives as following:

If we are studying in the universities which already have great reputation, it will be great benefits to the students for their future study and career. However, the reputation can not be created in one day or one year and it's not only the university side to create it. The great reputation are able to develop by the students also.

The community will be the place to announce news, share, knowledge, Interests, and useful information between the Current students, Alumni, Faculties, International affair’s coordinators , and Future students.

For the current students, we can develop the good relationship between International students ,Taiwanese students ,Professors, University staff by exchanging the knowledge, cultures, opinions, information, etc.

For the alumni, we can keep in touch after we graduated and also help to give some guideline to the current students.

For the future students, we can use to provide the useful information for new comers and we can share suggestions and our warm welcome to them.
