Hi Folks! I hope you are doing well! As I write the November letter, Randy, Angel and I are enjoying the beauty of Panama City Beach, FL at the Thunder Beach Rally. The sun is setting and the waves are crashing on the sand. Nature sure creates a beautiful pallet of colors and sounds; it is very relaxing. The sounds of motorcycles rumbling in the distance makes me excited and anxious to get out and do some riding and shopping at the many stores offering anything your heart desires. Randy and I are fortunate to have jobs that allow us to experience different places and different people in the motorcycle world. We meet so

many awesome motorcycle enthusiasts and they are the reason we work hard to bring you the best motorcycle magazine in the southeast. We appreciate everyone we meet and enjoy listening and sharing motorcycle stories with them.

Be thankful for what you have. Today, our friend Angel reminded me that we should appreciate loved ones in our lives bcause tomorrow may be too late. Life is precious and short. As we get older, we experience more loss of dear friends and family. Let those who are still on this planet know how much you love them and appreciate them. Forget and forgive and create foundations to build relationships that are happy and healthy. Enjoy today and don't sit back and think "tomorrow I'll do it". For those of you who are thinking about learning to ride a motorcycle, especially women, don't wait. I can promise you that it will be the best thing you ever did. I talk with women all the time that tell me this very statement. It is a very liberating experience to control that powerful machine and operate it skillfully. I hope to see you on the road soon!

Biketoberfest 2015 just finished up in Daytona Beach. It's a front row

seat to watching thousands of bikers and the number of women I see on the back of bikes with sandals, shorts and nothing to protect any skin if they go down is painful to watch. I understand that it's beautiful weather and the sun is shining but if you wouldn't go white water

rafting without a life vest what are you doing riding with absolutely no gear? Of course the guy behind the bars thinks he's invincible, but accidents are called accidents because they are accidental, unplanned and out of our control. Our odds are only changed by the gear we wear. I don't think you have to get crazy with

it - but show some respect. When you respect a sport and its risks, you reducd your odds of getting hurt.

Just one good burn from backing into a hot pipe can give you a scar for life. All it takes is to go down one time to tear up a foot and you're living with a limp. Boots that come up over the ankle can reduce your risks. Most of the time those guys will dump you in a heartbeat if you're crippled or scarred up. Women, what are you doing in the pursuit of looking sexy on the back of the bike? I think you can look smart and sexy - not stupid and sexy. Again, it shows no respect for the sport you're engaging in and anyone who really cares about you will spend th emoney to make sure you've got some decent gear.

And then add to all that, many of you end up riding with someone who's impaired by alcohol. Do some studying. Look up the statistics related to alcohol and motorcycle accidents. Check out what alcohol impairment does to reaction time. Maybe you'll think twice before you get on the back of that bike. Respect yourself, respect the sport and respect other riders.

Downtown Columbus, Georgia roared as the 14th Annual Bikes

on Broadway event took place. The Southern Cruisers Riding Club puts this event together every year in support of Our House Children’s Home at Carpenters Way Ranch for Boys and The Arabella House for Girls charities. Vendors were lined up and down the street as more and more bikes road into to support the event. Live entertainment by Zero260, Band of Thieves, Spent, Haywire, Vinyl Radio and more kept the music flowing for the crowd. Thousands of dollars was raised with the help of their Dice Run, raffle drawings, 50/50, event shirt and pin sales. There was also a humbling 9/11 remembrance ceremony was held on the main stage.

Next year’s event is scheduled for September 9-10 so mark you calendars and we’ll see you there.

Having a good time at the Boogie Too Rally isn't hard to do. Find some old

friends or new ones and let the Boogie take its course. However, if you overdo it a bit, consider yourself, “Clarkaneezed”. Herbert & Amber Clark always put on great events and sometimes a couple of the Boogie-goers try to take it to the next level and thus, they get Clarkaneezed.

Folks rolled in early to get the best spots and so Scooters Biker Bar began the rally in high fashion. The check-in lines were hopping but the Boogie staff took care of everyone in record time. Amberland began hopping on day one with some great partying crowds and the live music packed the midway. Rebel Son, Skipper Grace, Phoenix Rising and more kept the crowds rocking into the wee hours of the morning. Head comedian act, Crystal Birdwell brought her hilarious ventriloquist act to the stage as well.

Herbert & Amber Clark continued to entertain the crowd as their bike games and contests are second to none. Late, late at night, the party continued throughout the campground at several campsites until the sunrise appeared to begin the next day. Several SBMag Road Crew shirts were seen throughout the event and the vendor midway was packed with everything anyone needed to buy or just had to have.

Next year’s events are being planned and bands are getting scheduled so make sure to put all four Boogie events on your calendar.

The Boogie Too, You’ve Been “Clarkaneezed”

51 years old is just my age minus one, but for a dealership to be 51,

it means customer service must be long term commitment and being competitive in such a huge market is a priority. That’s where Atlanta Harley-Davidson is today. Opening in downtown Atlanta in 1964, the dealership grew out of its initial space and relocated to its current 30,000 sq. ft. location in Lithia Springs in 1996.

For Atlanta H-D’s 51st Birthday, Jeff Eubanks cranked out a huge party with guest entertainment, Mother’s Finest who rocked the stage. The Cherry Bomb dance troupe kept all the gentlemen entertained. The vendors along with all the Harley specials kept the folks there all day. I can’t wait for their 52nd because it’s bound to be even larger than this one.

Another Biketoberfest ® has hit the books as we

get ready for the holidays and prepare for Daytona’s 75th Bike Week in March. What spectacular weather we had during the four days of the

event. Spectacular Sunsets at places like Inlet Harbor near the famous Lighthouse are a delight with amazing views and great food. The ever Popular Main Street saw huge crowds for all the concerts, contests and onlookers during the weekend. New places like Cacklebery Campground keep bringing more and more for everyone to enjoy. There were lots of great bands everywhere such as the 3 AC/DC tributes that played all over. Bikini Babes and Bikini Contests were favorites among many. One Band that many look forward to each event is Jacksonville’s Big Engine playing their brand of sure fired Rock and Roll. We can’t forget Willie’s Old School Chopper Show the Thursday of the event at Willie’s Tropical Tattoo on US1 in Ormond Beach. Thousands attend Willie’s event making it a not to miss spectacle. All the good looking promo girls, their samples and giveaways were a huge hit with just about

everyone in attendance. And a ton of cool bikes were all over the area to look at, too.

What a great time the SBMag Road Crew and myself had during the four days in October. We look forward

to seeing everyone in March for Daytona’s 75th. Get your reservations in early as most places are expected to fill up fast. baddest hot rod, custom car and rat rod show, swap meet and lifestyle show, plus demolition derby and live music.” That’s what Scooter says about his middle Tennessee event and I’m here to tell you… He ain’t just blowing rust! It was a packed event with the largest crowd and most impressive display of rat rods, cars, trucks, motorcycles and several combinations of those plus all the vendors and folks doing swap meet booths.I’ve never seen an event like this so well organized and so well put on since I have been publishing the magazine. Attendees came from all over the United States and Canada for a chance to win one of the unique trophies in all the many different divisions and classes. A variety of bands entertained the hundreds and hundreds of folks in attendance.Our SBMag Road Crew rep, Sandi England said, “The weather was beautiful. And since every single vehicle is a unique take on the owner’s definition of hotrod / street rod / rat rod / whatever, anything less than hundreds of photos will leave out so much”. We are putting up some of the best photos available and hope you enjoy them.If you have never been to a Redneck Rumble (Rat Rod festival), you will want to put it on your bucket list for next year. There is no comparison for the unique passion these builders and collectors have.

The 10th Annual Tickled Pink Breast Cancer Poker Run was an

astounding success. Men with their hair, goatees and beards colored pink was just another way us guys show our support. The Thunder Angels have hit a homerun supporting breast cancer awareness each year with their annual ride. This year, registration began at The Wicked Wheel and made several stops to get cards punched including PCB Harley-Davidson, American Legion Post 392, Club Flashbacks, American Legion Post 356, Indian Motorcycles of PCB and ending back at The Wicked Wheel.

Everyone including the men came decked out in pink and rode for this great cause. Hundreds of dollars were raised for those in need to fight breast cancer and benefiting “Making Strides Against Breast Cancer”. Two thumbs up for the Thunder Angels as they continue to help those people in need fight the fight.

The 2015 Red Bull Straight Rhythm was won once again by James ‘Bubba’ Stewart aboard his Yoshimura Suzuki

Factory Racing RM-Z450. He met his fellow Suzuki rider, Ken Roczen in the finals after whip snapping 2015 Supercross Champ Ryan Dungey. This race is unique as it pits two riders head-to-head down a straight, 3,000-foot-long rhythm section at Auto Club Speedway in Pomona, Calif.

In the 250cc class, Stewart’s younger brother Malcolm took the win aboard his GEICO Honda CRF250R.

Following the race, Stewart, who sustained 16-month suspension in Supercross/Motocross due to illegal drugs in his system, said: “I appreciate everybody that’s been supportive of me while I was off. You don’t understand how good this feels, I’m just stoked right now. When I won that first race and I heard these guys cheering for me… it’s been over a year since I’ve had that. It’s just unbelievable. I thank everyone so much.”

"Don't worry, I have FULL COVERAGE!" - Famous last words...

As a lawyer handling cases in Tennessee, these are words I often hear when it's too late, particularly

when handling cases for folks who are either the victims of horrible accidents or, sometimes, the accidental cause of terrible injury to others.

Fact: Many insurance companies will sell you a "full coverage" policy but at the level of the state minimum required, $25,00/$50.000. An insurance company that wants to sell you this minimum state required policy is the equivalent of sending you to Sturgis on a moped. For those not familiar with insurance speak, full coverage suggests that the policy not only covers liability (or the harm or damage caused to others), but also includes provisions that include protecting yourself from harm to your own vehicle or motorcycle. In comparison, "collision coverage" covers those mistakes that you cause when you wreck your vehicle. For instance, if you wreck your ride and it's your fault, then your insurance company will pay for it.

At the end of the day, many insurance companies will sell you full coverage at the state minimum required $25,000/$50,000 and not a penny more. The first $25K notes that if you injure someone else or yourself (in the case of underinsured/uninsured motorist coverage or UM coverage), then your policy will cover damages of up to $25,000 per person, or in the case of multiple people, up to $50,000 total coverage for al injured parties. At the end of the day, one night in the hospital for you, a friend, or a loved one could easily exceed $25,000.

Solution: Changing one's policy from a minimum state required $25,000/$50,000 policy to a single limit policy (for this example say a $300,000 single limit policy). The advantage of a single limit policy is that, the policy coverage is up to $300,000 whether one person is injured or whether a busload of nuns are injured.

What type of policy do you have? The cost of doubling a minimum and wholly inadequate state minimum policy of $25,000/$50,000 roughly costs $3 to $4 bucks every month and for roughly $10 bucks a month you can get over 10 times the state minimum coverage, giving you and your family better piece of mind while cruising.

Rest assured, I don't work for insurance companies. In fact, they are almost always my adversaries. However, when purchasing the necessary evil that is insurance in order to protect yourself from underinsured or not insured motorists, and frankly, yourself from yourself, a few extra bucks every six months can provide you and your loved ones with the extra protection that you need should tragedy occur.
