This can be a year of deep contemplation as we begin our creations in the New Era. By looking at the last few years and reviewing what worked and didn’t work, we can foster new directions, cleanse out old outdated idealisms and begin to see the Isness of Us. Take a moment as you walk down the street and look your neighbor in the eye and give a smile of joy. Remind them by your presence they are not alone in this world and neither are you. Personal Story
HOPE
I like to introduce a different meditation. I am calling it HOPE. My teacher referred to it as Celebration of Life and Happy Day Meditation. For me HOPE encompasses both concepts when used as an acronym as well as the process involved in the meditation. Happy Observances of Past Experiences.
It is a different take on what has become a popular thought process ~ Gratitude. Gratitude tends to be mostly about being thankful and
does not encourage much self reflection on ones own affect upon the world. HOPE on the other hand brings one to reflect on ones participation in life. This is important as it encourages us to participate in life without taking responsibility for that which isn’t ours. It
also reminds us that if we were happy in the past, we can be happy again and what those things where that created it to be a happy observance and experience. Simply sit for a 1/2 hour and dwell on happy moments and past successes and activities. Contemplate the activities that made them successful and allow the effect to nourish you.

The Body is Designed for MovementHow to move with Love/Discernment? Begin by
feeling the connection between your conception of self and the sense of where the body is. Breath into that
connection and feel the awareness expand. Feel the
sense of self expand and the connection deepen with
each breath taken. Allow the body to stir and respond
to the energy it is receiving through the breath and then ask it to move in the direction you wish it to take. Feel
the body move and instead of making it go to where
you perceive it should go, observe how it does it. As you
do this you will begin to notice the movement is not so
black and white, not so linear. That is it spirals and twists. You begin to be aware that when it gets stuck,
even before you are aware of tension, it will pause and
begin to do small imperceptible movements. (con’t page 5)

This is a good place to just breath and hang out
as the body continues on. You can use this same
application if you experience pain.
When you allow your body to make these
small adjustments, it can then repair and mend any misalignments between the bone, muscle and
ligaments as well as in the facia and emotional
layers that are stressed and twisted. When these
areas are de-stressed/soothed, then proper nerve
and blood flow occurs and all tissues and organs are again properly nourished.
When these areas have repaired themselves
they will then move with more strength and ease.
As well it will then permit greater use and can
handle more demands that are placed on it.
