Flow Conditions
Evaluate gas movement and temperature in working and living environments, as well as lighting applications, concurrent with design using the HVAC applications module. Calculate 8 human comfort parameters including “Predicted Mean Vote” (PMV) and “Predicted Percent Dissatised” (PPD) to measure thermal comfort and identify potential problem areas. Advanced radiation – model absorption of radiation in solid bodies and denition of the radiation spectrum for a more accurate radiation simulation. Tracer study – analyze the ow of a certain admixture (tracer) in the existing carrier uid.
Comfort Parameters Simulation
SOLIDWORKS Flow Simulation intuitive CFD (computational uid dynamics) tool enables designers to simulate uid ow such as liquid and gas ow in real world conditions, run “what-if” scenarios, and eciently analyze the eects of uid ow, heat transfer, and related forces on immersed or surrounding components.
Allows simulate ows with a freely moving interface between two immiscible uids. The volume of uid method (VOF) is used for tracking and locating the free-surface or uid-uid interface. The following pairs of uids are available: gas-liquid, liquid-liquid, gas-non-newtonian liquid. Any phase change transition, rotation, porous media and fans are not allowed.Fast Fourier Transformation (FFT) algorithm converts a time signal to the complex frequency domain for transient analysis. The new FFT plot allows time-dependent
