VOCATION PRAYER Heavenly Father, You sent Your Son to save us and thus

establish the Church as the Bride of Christ. Your Church is in need of servant leaders who will spend their lives in witness of

their faith. We beg You for good and holy priests. In every age, You call men who follow Jesus to become servants and

shepherds of Your people. You also call women to embrace a religious community and in doing so, to serve Your Church in love and charity. Send forth Your Holy Spirit and open their

hearts to Your call and give these men and women the courage to give their lives completely to Jesus Christ. Be their rock of refuge and their light as they discern. Help us to support them on their journey, and to love them as His disciples. Give them the grace to guide the Church to follow Christ more closely. We ask you this in the name of Jesus Christ, the High Priest who intercedes for us before Your heavenly throne. Amen.

vidas dando testimonio de su fe. Te suplicamos por sacerdotes buenos y santos. En cada época, Tú llamas a hombres a seguir

a Jesús para convertirse en siervos y pastores de Tu pueblo. Tú también llamas a las mujeres a abrazar una comunidad

religiosa y a servir a Tu Iglesia con amor y caridad. Envía Tu Espíritu y abre sus corazones a Tu llamado y dale a estos

hombres y mujeres el valor de dar sus vidas completamente a Jesucristo. Seas su roca de refugio y su luz mientras

In order to receive First Holy Communion or Confirmation, a student must attend 2 consecutive years of Religious Education Classes. Girls who have not been confirmed and made their Holy Communion MUST be in this program BEFORE they can celebrate their Cotillion (15-year-old celebration)! Due to social distancing rules, seats may be limited. Reserve space now for your children to attend CCD classes this Fall! Please have a copy of the child’s baptismal certificate or birth certificate, and first communion certificate when registering. Call the office for tuition information.

Per Archdiocesan guidelines in prevention of Covid-19, parishes must have enough volunteers to welcome people and sanitize the church between services in order to stay

opened. Volunteers must be trained through a webinar and be willing to help before, during and after Mass for the

We would like to encourage families to pray for vocations to the priesthood and religious life and to ask their children if they have an interest in learning more about a religious vocation. Each week, a family at Mass will be invited to take home the “Vocation Chalice and Paten” which comes from Jerusalem. Each day, we ask the family to say a special vocations prayer, to pray for our priests, our deacons, the religious sisters, and missionaries like Father Zacharias in Tanzania. If you are interested in bringing the Vocation Chalice and Paten to your home, please call the Rectory for more information.
