Social Media Surgery What is it? How can I host one?
Social media surgeries are informal drop-in sessions where anyone from the voluntary and community sector can come and pick the brains of our 'surgeons' (helpful volunteers who understand the world of Twitter, Facebook and the rest).
What do Surgeries look like?
• Initial Introductions (what do people want to learn?)
• Pairing of Surgeons with Patients
• Usually 30 minute sessions
• Can be one-on-one or group discussions
• Keep it loose and informal!
Recipe
1. A free room with wifi
2. A surgery manager (that’s you!)
3. 1+ Surgeons
4. 1+ Attendees
